Ack, it's actually been two weeks since the last post. I have a good excuse, though. First, wife got a job, so we're moving and figuring that stuff out. Second, I've been inspired for writing. Third, our eighth wedding anniversary was two days ago.

Anyway, on with the photos (all from Trinity College, Dublin):

Long Hiatus

Ok, it's been a while since I last posted. I guess the big four reasons are: this is sorta diary-like and I've never been good at those; end of the semester mess; travel (Ireland trip, selected photos will follow in the next couple days); and writing, which I've been doing a good deal of in the last month or so, entirely fictional.

Oh, the most notable book I've read in the intervening time: Robert Asprin's posthumously published Dragons Wild, meant to start a new series. It was a good book with a very interesting premise and good writing for the most part (some points were perhaps too detailed, unnecessarily, in that the extra detail didn't really add a whole lot to the story). Unfortunately, unless he left some notes and/or notebooks around and Jody Lynn Nye or his ex-wife wants to pull a Brian Herbert, it looks like the series will not become a series.
